Section 3Editorial responsibility.

Under the French Law of 21 June 2004 on Confidence in the Digital Economy, the director of publication is the natural or legal person who assumes editorial responsibility for the content of the site. For Snowtailors, that role is held personally by Antoine Sangouard, the founder. He is reachable through the email and phone listed in section 1, and answers any editorial enquiry — corrections, factual disputes, right of reply — within seven calendar days.

The website is updated principally by the founder and a small editorial team within Snowtailors. Articles, instructor profiles and station notes are reviewed before publication; we do not host user-generated content (no forum, no comments section), so the question of moderation does not arise.

Section 4Intellectual property.

All content present on this website — written articles, photographs, illustrations, the typographic wordmark, the page layouts, the iconography and the underlying source code — is, unless otherwise indicated, the intellectual property of Snowtailors or of the rights-holders who have licensed it for our use. The whole is protected under the French Code of Intellectual Property and applicable international conventions.

Reproduction, redistribution or adaptation of any element, in whole or in part, on any medium and by any means, requires the prior written consent of Snowtailors. Brief citation for editorial purposes is permitted under the standard French copyright exception (article L122-5 CPI), provided the source is clearly named. Use of any photograph in which a guest appears further requires the consent of the guest concerned, in accordance with the right to one's own image.

Section 5Trademarks & partner names.

Names of partner hotels, ski lift operators and resorts mentioned on this site (Val Thorens, Courchevel, Méribel, Le Pashmina, Altapura, Hôtel Fitz Roy, Fahrenheit Seven and others) remain the property of their respective owners. They are mentioned for descriptive purposes — to inform a guest about the geography of the 3 Valleys or about a hotel where we have a working relationship. No commercial endorsement, sponsorship or affiliation is claimed unless explicitly stated.

Section 6Data protection & DPO contact.

Snowtailors processes personal data in compliance with the European General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and the French Data Protection Act, as detailed on our privacy policy page. We have not appointed an external Data Protection Officer; data-protection oversight is handled internally by Antoine Sangouard. Any GDPR-related question — access, rectification, erasure, portability — is answered at snowtailors@gmail.com within thirty days, in line with article 12 of the regulation.

Section 7Mediation & jurisdiction.

Any dispute related to this website or to the services it describes is governed by French law. Consumers residing in France benefit from the right to refer the matter free of charge to a consumer mediator before any court action, by contacting [mediator to be appointed]. EU consumers may also use the European Online Dispute Resolution platform. Failing amicable resolution, the Tribunal Judiciaire de Chambéry has exclusive jurisdiction.
